  • 2011 Christmas Production of ‘Snow White’.

Kintyre House Care Home, Invergordon In 8 years as manager in the home, this has to be one of the best events we have ever hosted. It was attended by staff and relatives with some children as well as 34 (of our 41) residents. Everyone was very engaged, there was a lot of laughter, singing a long as well as the booing and cheering. From age 2 – 92 there was something for everyone.”

Their quick changes of the colourful, wonderful costumes were amazing and they bought fun and laughter to all the many parts they played. • 2013 Summer production of ‘The Very Misunderstood Mister
    Punch’

The Meadows Care Home, Dornoch – “Excellent production by Preston and 2 others. Their roles required them to take on the many roles of a Punch and Judy play. It was terrific. Throwing their voices meant they did not require the application of microphones. Haste Ye Back!!”

The Glasgow Keep Fit Club, Glasgow – “Excellent! – Acting superb. Clever characterisations with colourful performances from all. Innovative, but still kept the tradition of Punch and Judy shows of ‘ye olden days’. Puppet technicalities were inspired. Great Entertainment and just the right length.”

Westlea Care home, Glasgow – “Once again another terrific performance.”

Rosewell House, Aberdeen – “Better than the theatre”, “So talented”, “Wonderful” – These are just a few of the comments from the audience. The panto has been a much talked about event. Thank you.

Mo Dhachaidh Nursing Home, Ullapool – “Residents and staff were thrilled that you came to us with your fantastic panto. We all thought it was very entertaining and we have never had any entertainment like it before. It was great. One of our residents was asked if they enjoyed it….. ‘I wasn’t really sure what was going on to begin with but as it went on it was very funny. Really enjoyed it. Good fun’.

Marine House, Rosemarkie – Our residents were so bright, lively and alert as well as being more vocal! Was enjoyed by both residents and staff. Easy sing-a-long music too. All looking forward to your next visit.

Cumbernauld Care Home, Cumbernauld – Pantomime was full of songs that our residents could remember and sing along to. They all enjoyed it very much. Artist interacted well with our clients and were understanding towards heir needs and abilities. Thanks very much.

Cromarty Fourways Club, Cromarty – Absolutely fantastic. Everyone loved it; Old and Young not forgetting the in-betweens! Haste Ye Back.

  • 2014 Christmas Production of ‘Aladdin’

Southside Nursing Home, Inverness – Well thought out performance – songs (sort of) familiar to residents – Jingles, catch phrases etc also familiar. Strong visual images and excellent interaction with residents. Remembering residents from previous visits went down very well (Louisa Taylor)

Sherbrooke Lodge, Glasgow – What a great show. Residents and staff loved it. It’s like switching a light on when the residents faces light up. Excellent – would recommend to everyone! (Roseann Murray)

Highview House, Inverness – As usual, a wonderful performance bringing all the fun of a huge pantomime production to the small stage. We would only be able to take 6 residents out to the theatre at any one time and especially in winter weather, bringing the entertainment to us is great! All the residents, who attended, remarked on the performance, saying what fun it was. Also we served mulled punch and mince pies to everyone! (Ann Harris, Activities)

Pentland View Care Home, Thurso – The residents were delighted to ‘meet and greet’ the players. Many were recognized by the residents from previous events. The residents enjoyed being named during the performance plus the singing and pantomime interaction. The photographs taken with the players gave great pleasure as did the programmes which will aid memories. The performance stimulated memories, reactions and happiness. Most important was the players remembering individual residents. (Kim Melloe, Activities co/ordinate)
